On January 13, 2021 the Becnel Family Scholarship was awarded to Giselle Medina of Destrehan High School, Class of 2021.

Giselle will be traveling to Greece & Italy for two weeks this upcoming summer to dig deep into ancient historical sites, taste authentic Mediterranean cuisine and experience the local culture of this region.
