Scholarship
The Becnel Family Scholarship was established in 2020 to provide a unique opportunity to students who may not otherwise be able to travel abroad. It is a merit and needs-based scholarship for high school juniors and seniors. The goal is to make travel available to students of all ethnic, cultural and religious backgrounds. It offers a chance for students to explore the world and begin seeing it with a new perspective.

Ashley & Bradley
Ashley and Bradley Becnel met in 2009 while working for President Barack Obama. They began traveling the country and world together for business and pleasure, building a deep love for exploration and adventure. In their travels, they realized how much new places and cultures impacted who they were and what they believed in. They created this scholarship to offer those same chances to young adults looking to broaden their horizons through cultural immersion.

It leaves marks on your memory, on your consciousness, on your heart, and on your body. You take something with you. Hopefully, you leave something good behind.”
