Scholarship

The winner will join a reputable company specializing in high school and college programs throughout the world. The scholarship will provide up to $5,000 to pay for tuition, as well as some related travel expenses. Programs could include language classes, cultural immersion, leadership training, sightseeing, volunteering and more. Ashley and Bradley will pre-select multiple programs they believe will offer a unique and rewarding experience. They will work closely with the scholarship award winner on the final selection and will assist in all related travel planning activities.*

Adult Students

Eligibility Requirements:

  • High school junior or senior attending school in the River Parishes, Jefferson Parish or Orleans Parish.

  • 2.7 GPA or higher, and in good academic standing

  • Financial need-based

  • Recommendation from a faculty member

  • Completed application form by December 15, 2023

  • Ability to obtain a US passport

  • Ability to travel for 1-3 weeks during summer 2024

  • Fully vaccinated and able to meet all program and destination health & safety requirements

Selection Process:

 

Each and every application that meets the eligibility requirements will be carefully reviewed. Finalists will meet with Bradley and Ashley in person or via video conference before a winner is selected. The finalists will receive a notification via email by January 15, 2024 and a final selection will be made by January 30, 2024.​

Current 2023/2024 Programs:

(Below are samples of what programs might look like; additional programs may be added. Each program is between 1 - 3 weeks.)

Costa Rica

Volunteer activities in education or healthcare. Adventure activities and excursions to ancient cities.

 

Spain

Spanish language classes. Housing with a local host family. Excursions to historic sites, markets and local beaches for active adventures.

Morocco

Teaching young children in primary school. Learn local cultural traditions such as dance, music and crafts. Visit historic sites.

​

Ghana

Promoting education and children's rights. Living in a University dorm room. Excursions to national parks, rainforests, and traditional villages.
